Eagle Cap Wilderness boundary is just minutes from Joseph and Enterprise. With some great trails to check out!

Scenic Overlooks -
- Hat Point Lookout Tower (1.5 Hour drive through Imnaha) (Rough Roads)
- Buckhorn Lookout Tower (1.5 Hour drive Northeast of Enterprise) (Rough Roads)
- Joseph Canyon Lookout (40 minutes North of Enterprise on Hwy 3) (Good Highway)

Wallowa Lake Tramway
Known as the steepest vertical lift gondola in North America the tram is the easiest and quickest way to get amazing mountain top views in Wallowa County. Located at the head of Wallowa Lake a quick 15 minute ride takes you to the top of Mount Howard. On top is the Summit Grill for lunch and a couple miles of easy hiking trails that are well worth the effort.
